Play the Long Game

Yep, there's a metaphor in here. 😜 I planted this sunflower after watching @Ronfinleyhq 's @masterclass on gardening this summer (it was late for our zone, but I calculated the number of days until our first frost!). I almost pulled it out and gave up on it so many times - two other sunflowers I planted at the same time were doing way better. This one has clearly been through some hard times, it is tiny, but it finally bloomed in rainy late NOVEMBER, and it is my favorite of all the things I planted this summer by far.

It's always tempting to take the short cut, use the quick tip and take the first job that calls you back. It's worth the effort to put in the time, work, and dedication to discover and ultimately get where you really want to be. 🌻
