National Take Your Dog to Work Day

It's National Take Your Dog to Work Day! These days with so many people working at home during the pandemic, this might be every day for you. I've been lucky that in my corporate roles I've always been able to bring my dog to work. Of course, those were never my most productive days - they usually included dodging tourists taking pictures at Pike Place with my gigantic basset hound Rosie, or just barely stopping her from darting directly into Jeff Wilke's office. 😬 ⠀ This is Cash - this picture was taken in an Amazon conference room while I was interviewing someone over the phone first thing in the morning. He doesn't look very impressed. 😆 ⠀ Cash is now 12, and still loves cuddling up next to me while I'm working on something. He can be hard to find because he wanders a lot these days and can't hear or see as well, but if he's in the house he's usually curled up on the diaper changing pad or in a sunbeam. My husband was able to bring him to work every day as a puppy, so he's very well behaved. Cash is very beloved and his sweet snores are great background noises for getting things done. ❤ ⠀ Is your dog at work with you today?! 🐶
