Monday Reminders

Happy Monday! It's always good to start the week with a deep breath and sanity check. The hiring process takes time, and you have to remember these averages are HEAVILY weighted by the fact that 70% of people are hired at a company where they already have a connection in place. It can take months - I even saw a few PM positions open at Amazon this morning that have been available since 2019.

Especially in the middle of a pandemic, it's important to recognize there's going to be some churn in the process. Many companies are evaluating their budgets, reassessing their needs, and opening or closing positions right now.

Take a breath and a step back. You'll find the right job or new hire for you, but it's probably going to take a little time.
