It can be tricky to get a read on a candidate's motivation and growth potential during an interview - this is one of my favorite behavioral interview questions. A solid response should include one or multiple of the following:

-Self Taught Skills- preferably related to previous or future roles
-Process Improvement- with data to back up the improvement
-Above and Beyond Customer/Coworker Support- spending the extra time to help others or improve customer experience
-Extracurricular Activities- leadership roles in affinity or networking groups, mentoring, etc

Note for job seekers: This isn't where you want to talk up your side hustle. Most companies don't allow these activities during working hours where you're paid to do another job.

How would you answer this question? Do you make good use of your free time on the job? 😜
