DEI Interview Question Series

The behavioral interview questions asked during an interview are always rooted in values the company is looking for in a candidate. As more companies focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 👏 and all of the work that comes with it, expect more questions like this in interviews. This is the first of a new series of posts with questions that fall into this category. Hiring Managers, if these values are important to you, consider adding questions like this in your interview process.

This question in particular is great, because it could apply to a wide variety of situations, and lead to interesting dialogue or even yellow or red flags. Candidates may show vulnerability and share examples about when they weren't tolerant, were wrong, and learned from their mistakes.

Do you have a good answer for this one? Have you heard or asked any questions about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in any recent interviews?
