DISC Interview Question - High S
Another for the DISC series - this question is a good one for a High S to prepare for in advance of an interview. Conflict can be difficult for someone with these steady and stable tendencies, and a good example for this may not come to mind right away. Think of a situation where you pushed outside of your comfort zone to drive change for your customer.

Hiring managers, if your candidate is having a hard time answering this question, they may just need some extra coaching or encouragement as a new hire to feel comfortable speaking up if they disagree. My first manager at Amazon actually told me that I should try to disagree with him in every team meeting we were in so I would get more comfortable with this and create more of a perception that I was a leader on the team. It worked and it made meetings more fun in the process! 😜
