3 Steps to Interview Prep
For those of you using this Sunday to prep for an interview this week, here is our high level framework.
Good luck with your interviews - we hope you find what you're looking for! 🤞

1. Know your customers- that includes your current customers, who your customers would be in this potential role, and considering your interviewers your customers. Not sure if someone qualifies as a customer? Treat them as such! Know who they are, what their problems are, and how you are best equipped to help them.
â €
2. This is a given, but spend some time digging into your past work and thinking through some detailed situation/behavior/impact examples. Make sure you have hard data around the impact. You may find some examples you don't remember off the top of your head if you're able to go through past documentation and emails. However, do NOT spend too much time on this step- my biggest pet peeve in an interview is if someone is overprepared or following a script.
â €
3. What are you trying to get out of the interview, besides nab the role? What information do you need to know if this is a good fit for YOU? Are you interested in networking/connections with your interviewers if the role isn't the right fit? Set your intention for the interview and no matter the outcome, the interview will be a success.
